I like how the redolence of the sweet apple glides smoothly over skin. It's soothing with a touch of sweet, but not the overly fragrant fake kind of sweet. It pumps out in relatively small amounts, but I kind of like that the pump isn't as high as some other soap dispensers. If I had one complaint, the Johnson's does not lather up enough. I compared it side by side with other products, and the Johnson's did not measure up to competitive brands in that regard. However it does clean and leave skin soft. In fact, my wife who has a sunburn tried it and it felt great on her delicate skin.
The Johnson's rinses off easily and leaves skin soft and smooth. It's a good value for a big bottle of feel-good soap that carries a pleasant scent and makes showering a relaxing experience. It's classic Johnson's feel that's thick and creamy and does the job getting the body clean.
Like Bath & Body Works kind of apple not the kind you eat.
Of course this is hypo allergenic baby friendly but,
a bottle this big has enough to share for when mama needs to escape into a bath of her own.
I'm disappointed that the bottle says it's moisturizing and even looks creamy but,
didn't feel smooth soft skin after washing just clean.
On a good note, even though this was shipped in a paper bubble mailer,
Someone realized the plastic pump may need protection & taped it down with packing tape.
It was a brilliant idea because the pump and the bottle all arrived in one piece, no breakage no spills.
If you just want a sweet smelling soap for sensitive baby skin, go for it.
If you want one step moisturizing, keep looking.
I don't know what is in this, but I have never had a liquid soap or body wash burn my skin like this (even with the mild eczema). I can't imagine how it would feel if it got into my eyes (and I'm not going to test that) ... or worse yet, a baby's eyes!
The body wash has a quite mild light apple scent that is pleasant but muted and it dissipates almost immediately. The product creates a good amount of lather and easily rinses away. The pump releases a small quantity of the body wash which may require extra pumps to obtain the desired amount which I prefer rather than excess product being dispensed and wasted. I like the body wash and so far have encountered no negative reaction or irritation.
In my opinion, it doesn't feel ultra-moisturizing. My daughter has very dry and sensitive skin and although I don't feel like it harmed her skin, I can't say that it offered any extra benefits other than cleanliness.
