Keep leftovers and more with the Pyrex 3-Cup Rectangle Glass Storage Set. You can also use it to transport dishes to a gathering. Each of the containers in this Pyrex rectangle storage set features a flared design, so you can stack them inside of each other. They're made from glass, which is non-porous and does not absorb smells or stain. The thick material is strong enough to stand up to lots of regular use. You can keep them in the fridge and the freezer. They're also safe to run through the microwave and dishwasher, or even a pre-heated oven. The lid provides a tight seal to keep everything fresh inside. And since there's no BPA in the plastic components, they can be safely used around pregnant and nursing mothers as well as young children.

(Random fun tip, reheating leftover delivery pizza in the oven really is the best way to go, but a good hack for the microwave is rip the pieces in half across the middle and set them around the edge of the plate before microwaving. That setup will get all the pieces uniformly warm instead of hot on the corners and cold in the middle. Texture will still be like it was microwaved and soft, but fine if you just want it hot in 90 seconds vs 10-15 mintues.)
I recommend the Pyrex 11 Cup dish container, especially at around $8-9.
Even their plastic covers are clearly printed on the underside with instructions as to what they can and cannot be used for.
The covers ARE good for the refrigerator, freezer and microwave; but NOT for conventional oven use and can be cleaned in the dishwasher TOP RACK ONLY.
The shipping packaging was excellent.
No name brands break and chip easily, fancy clip covers are clumsy to used I suspect may actually stress the glass.
I would not even think of using those no name plastic clip covers in the microwave.
I suspect that the claims in the descriptions for many of these no namers are FALSE and are not meant for microwaving, etc., and they certainly do not hold up well. They're ultimately a waste of money.
I ordered addition cup sizes. They make excellent storage containers and oven compatible.
Needs special handling to not explode.
YES, the sides slope!. Don't care about that. I am making cornbread in microwave.
Top cover fits well enough to keep out dust
Keeps my cornbread from drying out for a few days.
It is not Tupperware.
The top plastic ccver is imprinted: pyrex_STORAGE_ _11_cup-2.6L
Bottom glass imprint: pyrex___made-in-USA
2.75 qt-2.6L____ microwave safe__ no broiler__no stove top

Shipping in bubble-wrap was adeqaute.........I am totally satisfied
The only disadvantages of this line are that they are usually more expensive than similar products, and that the selection of sizes and shapes is not as great as, say, Frigoverre.
Some of the many advantages-
Glass is the safest material for food contact
It is totally transparent and colorless. We haven't seen any staining of these containers over the years, unlike Frigoverre containers.
Pyrex glass is tempered, so you can use it in the oven. In fact, we sometimes bake a cake in these containers, let it cool, close the cover and it's done.
European or American made- better confidence in material content than Chinese products.
Although the lid is not totally airtight, it fits quite snugly and is very easy to clean since they are designed with no crevices.
It is worth mentioning that the American ones have deep blue or bright red lids, unlike the European ones that have light blue or whitish semi-transparent lids that we find much more conservative and thus appealing.
